$8,500 in Cash Prizes up for grabs at Ignite Portsmouth!

The 2021 Ignite Portsmouth: Entrepreneurial Journey Bootcamp and Business Pitch Competition is pleased to announce the prizes for the inaugural pitch competition to be held on June 24th:

  • 1st Place: $5,000

  • 2nd Place: $1,500

  • 3rd Place: $1,000

  • 4th Place: $500

  • 5th Place: $500

All winners will also receive Leadership Portsmouth tuition, product prototyping assistance, and the opportunity to pitch to the Tri-State Angel Investment Group!

The Shawnee State Kricker Innovation Hub would like to thank the generous event sponsors for making this all possible: The Tri-State Angel Investment Group, the Scioto County Commissioners, the Scioto County Economic Development Office, Glockner, Rutman Burnside Realty, Wesbanco, Neal Hatcher Realty, The Ohio State University South Centers Manufacturing Extension Partnership, Tech Growth Ohio, and the Portsmouth Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Hub would also like to recognize are panel of judges: Eric Braun (Vice President at Shawnee State University), Mike Thompson (Treasurer at the Tri-State Angel Investment Group), and Faith Knutsen (Director of Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at OU’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs).
