Meet our Past Fellows

Samantha Posey - Game Development Studio

“I started the idea for my business because of the friends I have made during my time at Shawnee. My goal would be to create a game studio with my friends, which Shawnee students could intern at to build portfolio pieces.”

Dawn Jordon - AR/VR Therapy

“The idea of ARtherapy was born from my own quest for mental wellness, the struggles I encountered in accessing treatment, and conversations with practitioners along the way. ARthereapy was created to help bridge the growing mental health treatment gap, particularly in rural communities.”

Erika Martin - Women’s Golf Apparel

“I have been golfing for eight years, and my biggest complaint has been women's golf clothes. They lack color and have small pockets, or they are nonexistent. Small pockets can cause a loss in equipment such as tees or golf balls. My hope is that My Apparel company helps women be more comfortable and expressive on the golf course.”

Aiden Crawford - Game Development Studio

“As long as I can remember, I have always been enamored with video games in all shapes and forms. Starting off by playing my brother’s games on the Nintendo GameCube, to watching him play his newest game on the Xbox 360, discovering the wide world of gaming through the internet and YouTube, to finally learning about game design and the game development process. All my life I have had a deep love and fascination with the world of gaming. Now, I want to create my own.”
