2022 Glockner Dare to Dream Recap
The 2022 Glockner Dare to Dream High School Business Pitch Competition (presented by Shawnee State University) took place on Tuesday, March 1st in SSU’s Clark Memorial Library.
Fifteen teams from schools across the tri-state competed for $35,000 in cash prizes. The students created a business pitch, presented it to judges, and took part in a Q&A session.
“This is a great event for creating the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders in our area,” said Hub Program Director David Kilroy. “It’s about creating more opportunities. And it takes a lot of hard work to get on stage and present to the judges. The skills these students use in this program are skills they will use for the rest of their lives.”
In the end, Maddison Kotcamp, Haleigh Collier, and Jake Darling of Wheelersburg High School took home the first place prize for their business pitch - ‘The Diamond’.
