Tri-State Esports League

The Tri-State Esports League is a high school-focused competitive league powered by Shawnee State University, created to give students a structured and accessible place to compete in esports.

This league brings together high school teams from Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky, with a strong emphasis on schools located within the southern region of Ohio. Our goal is to build a sustainable, competitive ecosystem that supports local programs while expanding opportunities across the tri-state area.

Throughout the fall and spring season, teams will compete against one another in organized play, culminating in a fall and spring in-person championship event hosted on Shawnee State University’s campus. This finals experience gives students the opportunity to compete in a collegiate esports environment and be part of something bigger than their local scene.

Powered by Shawnee State Esports, this initiative reflects our commitment to growing esports at the high school level, building connections with regional programs, and creating clear pathways for students interested in competing at the next level.
