Esports Summer Camp

We are excited to announce the return of our esports summer camp June 23-25, 2026. The Shawnee State Esports Summer Camp is a 3-day, on-campus experience designed for students in grades 8–12. The camp emphasizes structured training, coaching, and competitive play in a collegiate esports environment.

Participants will train and compete in Valorant (Team-Based) and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Individual) but the lessons learned, apply to all game titles.

Program Structure

Day 1 – Valorant Training & Competition

●     Skill development (mechanics, roles, communication)

●     Coach-led ranked sessions

●     Tournament seeding matches

●     End-of-day VOD review and feedback

Day 2 – Smash Ultimate Training & Competition

●     Individual skill development (movement, combos, neutral)

●     Coaching rotations and applied practice

●     Tournament seeding bracket

●     Match analysis and improvement planning

Day 3 – Championship & Showcase

●     Final tournament brackets for both titles

●     Grand Finals for Valorant and Smash

●     Showmatch featuring Shawnee State players

● Awards ceremony and closing

Program Cost

$195 and includes lunch daily, a custom Shawnee State Esports camp t-shirt, and awards for top competitors.

Schedule

9 AM - 3 PM, Students may be dropped off as early as 8:30 AM and picked up as late as 3:30 PM.
